MARKET SCENARIO
With
the opening up of economy and market liberalization, multinational companies
including construction giants have started showing more interest in Indian
construction scenario.
Fixed
Cost – Fixed Time Lump Sum Turnkey Contract ( LSTK ) and Engineering Procurement
and Construction ( EPC ) have become order of the day.
Such
LSTK – EPC Projects are of high value and range from Rs. 300 Crores to
Rs. 1000 Crores.
Only
such companies qualify which have access to latest technology, modern equipment
engineered products and very heavy financial capability.
Very
few Indian Companies can qualify on their own strength for such large LSTK
/ EPC packages.
PROPOSED CAPITAL INVESTMENT
Bridge
& Roof is a profit making construction company and its turnover has
increased by around 5 times over the last decade.
In
order to maintain sustained growth of above 20% per annum, diversify in
various areas, sustain companies’ development and competitiveness in the
present market and maintain its track record of profitability, Capital
Investment of around 60 Crores is invisaged during next 3 years. The company
will also need additional Working Capital Finance for all its increased
level of activities. In addition to Internal Resources Generation, the Company
would need additional support from Banks / Financial Institutions / Capital
Market to finance its investment needs.
Bridge & Roof have
made total investment of Rs. 52 Crores towards acquisition of Capital Assets
in last 10 years without any budgetary support from Government.
Needless
to say, without the above Capital Investment, it would have been nearly
impossible for the Company to survive.
